The Children's Zoo Committee assists the zoo with maintenance and
upgrading of facilities, as well as lending operational assistance,
such as being a train conductor. A major effect for the zoo
was Club purchase of a handicap car for the zoo train and
construction of the train tunnel and water tower. The Club sponsors an annual Zoo Day with free admission for senior citizens, disabled persons and young children. |
